The High Capacity Catch Basin Insert is designed for demanding stormwater management needs, capturing large volumes of sediment, dirt, debris, and hydrocarbons before they enter the drainage system. Constructed from heavy duty, needle punched geotextile material, it absorbs oil, grease, and other hydrocarbons while holding up to 300 pounds of solids.
This oversized insert features a 60 by 60 inch skirt to fit almost any drain up to 54 by 54 inches, with excess material easily trimmed if desired. Large polyester handling straps make removal easier, and for heavily loaded units, backhoes, forklifts, or other equipment are recommended. The unit delivers a high flow rate of 1,000 gallons per minute to prevent ponding during heavy rainfall.
