A single compartment tank, also called a single chamber or one compartment tank, is the simplest septic tank. Wastewater sits in one chamber while solids settle and grease floats, and the clearer liquid flows on to the drainfield. Every size comes in two builds. Standard Duty tanks can be buried up to 2 feet deep with gravel backfill, and Heavy Duty tanks up to 4 feet deep with native soil backfill. Both are rated for light lawn traffic only.
Replacing a failed tank? Match the capacity on your permit and compare the technical drawing on each listing with your space. The 1,050 gallon tank also comes without plumbing if your installer prefers to fit their own.
Each tank is made to order and delivered by freight to the curb, so plan equipment to unload it.
