For drinking water, choose a vertical tank that is NSF 61 certified or FDA compliant. If it will sit in the sun, pick black or green, since dark walls block the light algae needs. Shop vertical water storage tanks.
Liquids heavier than water need a 1.5 or 1.9 specific gravity wall, and the resin has to suit your chemical, its concentration and its temperature. For a second wall against leaks, go double wall. Shop vertical chemical storage tanks or double wall tanks.
Open top tanks give you the whole top to mix, dip or soak in, in round or rectangular shapes, and polypropylene takes hotter liquids than polyethylene. Shop open top tanks.
