Store 1, 2 or 4 drums under a polyethylene cover with a UV inhibitor for outdoor service. On the 2 and 4 drum models, drums sit on a grated deck above a sump that Ultratech says meets EPA and SPCC spill containment regulations, and an extender kit adds 4 more drums to a Hard Top Plus.
Polyethylene can't withstand extreme heat in a fire, Ultratech notes. Its steel S4 for four drums and its steel IBC hard tops add protection from fire and heat.
Standard and twin IBC hard tops enclose one or two totes over a containment sump, and every model locks. The polyethylene twin opens with roll top covers and swing out doors and shares one continuous sump between both totes, so store only compatible chemicals.
